I really enjoy this French Roast, especially if you brew it on the 8 oz. setting. The flaover is pleasant and toasty, without coming off burnt. I find this works well for me when i want a pleasant full bodied flavor that isn’t trying to grab my attention like other dark roasts.
Agreed, I love that it is not bitter like other French roasts. It has a slight smoky or as you say “toasty” flavor. It’s my favorite.
